About the Journal

Until recently, there was no academic publication specifically designed for students in the Georgian historical scientific space. This circumstance prompted a group of students and professors to take effective steps to address this issue. For this purpose, a completely new type of scientific publication was founded, which focuses entirely on student research. Simultaneously, it endeavors to introduce the academic aspect from the initial stages of teaching, incorporating approaches recognized both internationally and within the Georgian scientific community. This commitment is reflected in the journal's firm adherence to the culture of peer review, ensuring that all incoming publications (articles, academic translations, or sources) undergo rigorous evaluation. The editorial board of the magazine is diverse, ensuring the high quality of the publication.

The journal publishes articles on Georgian and world history, ethnology-anthropology, archaeology, and scientific issues related to historical topics. In essence, the journal promotes an interdisciplinary and multivariate understanding of the past, which serves as the main foundation of our work. However, the magazine upholds the principles of freedom of the press, and the content published on its pages may not necessarily reflect the views of the editorial board.
